Did you forget about me?

February 18, 2011

Do you know over 800,000 children are born with sickle cell anemia each year? Some require receiving a blood transfusion every three weeks. Can you imagine that? We are trying to do as much as we can to change the outcome. We need your support. You can donate time, money, or even share information about sickle cell disease that you come across on our blog. The Madison Holland Foundation is a newly formed non-profit organization established in an effort to change the outcome for every sickle cell patient. Our goal is to raise money for research for a cure for this terrible disease.
Sickle Cell Disease research is under funded. The government and hospitals don’t spend a lot of time and money trying to find a cure for sickle cell because its been labeled an African-American disease. So, we have to help ourselves.
Please, while you’re here www.MadisonHollandFoundation.com donate what you can. We need to know that you hear us, care about us and are willing to do what you can to help to find a cure. This is not just another organization asking for money, I am your friend and your sister and I am asking for your help.
We know you want to do what you can and we know you don’t want another person to suffer especially when you can do something about it.
Thank you.
Best Regards,
The Madison Holland Foundation
