Who’s your greatest hero?

Sickled cells blocking free blood flow

The hero I most admire is Alexander Fleming because he discovered penicillin. Penicillin is given to babies diagnosed with sickle cell disease at birth, from birth until the age of six. It saves their lives by protecting them from infection. Sickle cell disease weakens your immune system. Fleming is at the top of my list because his invention saves lives everyday.

George Washington Carver is another one of my favorites mainly because of peanut butter. I love peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and so does Madison.
